waywardcatsWork has been busy lately, we're on a hiring binge in my department. Four candidates this week, only 7 more in the next 3 weeks. Lot's of arranging, but at least I don't have to do the interviewing. I don't mind being busy.
Jewelry class is going well, I made a bypass ring that I like, and have been wearing, and a couple of gifts have been completed.
Here at work they inexplicably cut down all of the trees in the 4x4 ft cement squares in the parking lots. Now they are planting new tress. The old ones seemed fine to me. I'm confused as to why the old trees needed to be destroyed, even if they are putting in drought tolerant species (which I think they are), did the others have to die?
Mostly good things going on now, but a few bad things also. A good friend of the family passed away last week, but I don't have the words to write about it yet.
Also, Camus is fading I think, he is losing weight, no matter how much I feed him and one of his lumps has hardened and grown. He doesn't show any signs of being in pain though, so that's good. I don't want to put him through invasive and painful tests or procedures at this point, so I am just watching to see if his quality of life goes downhill.
